THE PROJECT

It is our expectation that all project participants will start innovative  projects of her/his choice.  While we encourage everyone to be as creative as possible, the following guidelines should be adhered to:

• The project should have a connection to the Russian-speaking Jewish community, the larger Jewish community, or the Israeli community. Projects proposed can be in the form of video, music, and art, or they can be social initiatives with topics that range from immigration, politics, and language, to environmentalism, culture, gender, or religion. All projects must have a Jewish focus, theme, or element.

• Funding will be awarded only after submission of an approved budget and a signed contract.

• Funds provided must be completely expended on the funded project within a year of receipt.

• If, for whatever reason the Fellow is unable to proceed with the funded project, the recipient will inform COJECO as soon as possible in writing and immediately repay the funding to the Blueprint Fellowship Project of COJECO.

• The Fellow will provide appropriate public acknowledgment on all project marketing and advertising materials by including all appropriate BluePrint Fellowship, COJECO, and UJA logos as well as the following text: This project is made possibly through a grant by the Blueprint Fellowship project of COJECO, funded by the UJA-Federation of NY and Genesis Philanthropy Group.

• If the Fellow breaches any of these terms and conditions, COJECO reserves the right to withhold or reclaim in part or in whole the funding at its discretion.
