Do you know a talented doctor, musician, scientist, engineer, scholar, or other Jewish professional from the former Soviet Union who plan to immigrate to the United States? The Council of Jewish Émigré Community Organizations (COJECO) has developed a program to assist Jewish professionals from the former Soviet Union come to the United States and rebuild their professional and personal lives. What kind of support does COJECO provide?

  • COJECO will cover certain immigration-related expenses
  • COJECO will provide one –time financial assistance (based on family circumstances)
  • COJECO will cover professional courses expenses
  • COJECO will provide a professional with a special English as a Second Language Course
  • COJECO will assist émigré professionals in establishing social and professional contacts necessary for new career development and will provide support at each stage of a new professional career
